LINES vs. Classical

The dancer from LINES is very low to the ground, yet still en pointe. The classical ballerina is very lifted and is stretching up. The LINES dancer draws your eyes more towards the ground in contrast to the classical dancer whose body is meant to draw your eyes up. Also, the first dancer is very aware of her arms, but the positions are inverted in comparison to the classical style. I would say the contemporary ballerina has almost an aggressive stance, while the classical ballerina is very docile.
