Anna Pavlova

Anna Pavlova did so well at her dance school that when she  graduated she was able to skip being in the corps de ballet and jump right into dancing in smaller groups. Her first ballet out of schooling was La Fille Mal Gardee, where she danced in a group of three. In 1905 Anna made her big breakthrough when she danced the lead in “The Dying Swan”. On a side note Anna was born in February 12, 1881 and I was also born in February so thats really cool. Anna went on to build her career until in 1911 she created her own ballet company. In 1930 Anna passed away from double pneumonia.
